After three decades at Persimmon, the housebuilder’s chairman John White is stepping down at the annual meeting in April.
Mr White became chief in 1993 – working closely with founder and then chairman Duncan Davidson – and was named chairman in 2006. He will be succeeded by veteran NM Rothschild banker Nick Wrigley, who has been on the Persimmon board since 2006.
