Liffe, the London-based derivatives arm of NYSE Euronext, would consider using LCH.Clearnet as a clearer in the US as it builds a futures business in the US.

The disclosure is a sign that Liffe (London International Financial Futures Exchange) is interested in developing more business with the clearer even as it downgrades its clearing relationship with it in London.
