Cranswick battles on margins

Cranswick, the food producer behind Weight Watchers’ and Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference sausages, has recovered some of the escalating raw material costs that have weighed on margins after negotiating with customers.

The company warned this year that a struggle to push through the increased costs would hit its full-year outcome by about £1.8m ($3.5m).
