Probe into fresh Deutsche Telekom allegations

German authorities investigating alleged spying by Deutsche Telekom on board members and journalists said on Friday they were looking into accusations that the group might have looked at personal data other than phone bills.

At the same time, Wolfgang Schäuble, the interior minister, invited Telekom chief executive René Obermann and the heads of rival telecoms groups to Berlin on Monday to discuss data protection and privacy.
