General Electric’s NBC Universal film and TV unit has reached a deal with Mexico’s Grupo Televisa to broadcast its Telemundo Spanish language service throughout Mexico.

Under the 10-year agreement, Televisa, Mexico’s largest broadcaster and the world’s biggest producer of Spanish-language television programming, will broadcast more than 1,000 hours per year of Telemundo’s shows on its Channel 9.
