RBA’s dovish view hits Australian dollar

The Canadian and Australian dollars fell on Tuesday after their central banks changed interest rates.

The Reserve Bank of Australia raised rates 25 basis points as expected, but the Aussie slid after the bank released an unexpectedly dovish statement on cooling economic growth.
