Corporate India has been slow to wake up to the fact that the spread of HIV/Aids will at some point in the not too distant future start to hit the bottom line.

"At the moment, it's still a fairytale for them, but when they see the palpable difference, they'll start to act," says Shefali Chaturvedi, director of the Confederation of Indian Industry's social development and healthcare programme.
