Vincent Tchenguiz is threatening to call for the liquidation of Challenger Infrastructure Fund after the Australian group last month abandoned takeover talks with an investment vehicle controlled by the UK-based property magnate.
Arkmile, a subsidiary of Mr Tchenguiz’s Consensus Business Group, made an unsolicited approach of A$3.50 for each CIF share, worth A$1.22bn in March, but the two sides failed to agree a recommended deal.
