Russia woos UK over football

Russia on Tuesday expressed the hope that its decision to waive visa requirements for 40,000 British football fans travelling to the Champions League final in Moscow would improve its poor relationship with the UK.

In an unprecedented move that will require ratification by Russia’s parliament, Moscow has decided fans going to the match on May 21 will not require entry visas.
