City project to go ahead after L&G deal

One of the largest City of London office developments is to go ahead, though in a redesigned form, following an out-of-court settlement between Spanish developer Metrovacesa and fund manager Legal & General.

L&G had initiated proceedings to help force through the sale of the 1m sq ft Walbrook Square development to Metrovacesa that had been pending since last September when a deal was agreed for £240m ($468m).
