Office Depot yesterday announced a $2.2m initiative with three international conservation organisations aimed at advancing more environmentally-friendly practices.

The number two US office supply retailer has formed the Forest & Biodiversity Conservation Alliance in co-operation with The Nature Conservancy, NatureServe and Conservation International.
