Sir, The FT is wrong to suggest that the government is reversing National Health Service reforms (“Finding the benefit”, editorial November 20). As I said last week, we want the independent sector to play a crucial role in our healthcare system, increasing quality, choice and innovation across the whole of the service, as well as helping to reduce waiting times for patients dramatically.
