Harley finds the ride is far from easy

Harley-Davidson on Thursday said that its quarterly earnings fell 23 per cent as increasing international sales had failed to offset difficult conditions in the US.

Domestic shipments at the motorcycle maker shrank by almost a quarter, bringing them down to 64 per cent of the total from 71 per cent a year earlier.
