Known as “The Fortunate Isles”, the archipelago of 150 outcrops and rocks that constitutes the Isles of Scilly lies at the most south-westerly point of the UK, 30 miles across the Atlantic from Land’s End, Cornwall. Only five of the islands are inhabited. Those who own property here are fortunate indeed.
