Quanta Computer, the world’s largest notebook computer manufacturer, aims to make up ground lost to competitors by deepening co-operation with component manufacturers, integrating research and development operations, and halting a company “brain drain”.
C.C. Leung, the co-founder and vice-chairman who returned to the company a week ago as president after the departure of Michael Wang, said he would continue to concentrate on Quanta’s core notebook operations.
