Deere warns amid higher raw material costs

Deere & Company on Wednesday warned on future earnings in spite of reporting record profits on the back of the boom in agricultural commodities and strong international growth helped by the weak dollar.

The world’s biggest maker of tractors said higher raw material costs and falling sales of construction equipment would hurt its earnings this year, sending its shares down 10 per cent to $82.09.
