Pensions miss boat to China

Pension savers are missing out on what is widely seen as the strongest long-term growth story around, with individuals typically having only about 5 per cent of their retirement funds in emerging markets.

This modest asset allocation contrasts with research showing that the majority of investors believe emerging economies will generate higher returns over the longer term than their developed counterparts.
