Westfield Sportscars, a Black Country company, last week launched an electric racing car that can accelerate from 0-60mph in a hair-raising three seconds.

The unveiling at the Auto-sport International show at the National Exhibition Centre marked the revival of this small, long-established private vehicle maker. Just over a year ago it was facing bankruptcy. Now it is hopeful of floating on Aim.
