London house prices by postcode

The so-called “London effect”, which suggests that house prices in the capital are defying weak prices elsewhere in the UK, is due to strong increases in only a handful of post codes, this interactive map shows.

Using new data from Hometrack, the map shows how uneven this effect has been. Click on a postcode district to see average prices per square foot and how these have changed since their 2007 peak and over the past decade.
