Shares in TGE, the gas carrier engineer, will begin trading on Aim on Thursday. With a total offer size of €85m (£67m), the float will be one of the largest so far this year on the junior market.

The company will have a market capitalisation of €200m - more than 10 times the sum paid for TGE when Caledonia Investments supported a management buy-out from Suez Group in 2006. The shares are priced at £130.
