Thunderbird School of Global Management has launched a $65m capital campaign.

The money will be used for scholarships, professorships, research and innovations to the curriculum. Technology and facilities will also be upgraded.

The campaign will be chaired by Craig and Barbara Barrett. Barbara Barrett is a diplomat and international business and aviation lawyer. She recently served as senior advisor to the United States Mission at the United Nations and is a member of the US-Afghan Women’s council. Craig Barrett is chairman of the board at Intel Corporation and is also chairman of the United Nations Global Alliance for Information and Communication Technologies and Development.

Thunderbird has operations in the US, where its main campus in Glendale, Arizona is located. It also operates in Europe, Latin America, Russia and Asia.
