Introduction
For many, finding the right school for their children is one of the most difficult choices associated with a move abroad. Faced with a switch to a new country and an unfamiliar city, many opt for the international school. There are an estimated 3,000 such institutions across the world, teaching the children of wealthy ex-pats, diplomats and businesspeople, as well as those from the host country whose parents want them to have a more international, or cosmopolitan, outlook on the world. Yet the choice can be daunting.
To coincide with the release of the first FT special report on International schools, Mary Langford and Harriet Plyler will answer your questions.
